MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Megan Foret President, Chairperson of the Board
Megan has a Doctorate of Psychology degree in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute, a Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology from The University of St. Thomas, and Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota. Megan currently works as a licensed psychologist at One Medical Group at the Google Wellness Center in Mountain View, CA and in private practice.
John Schmit Chief Financial Officer, Secretary of the Board
John has a Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science Business in finance and Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Minnesota. He currently works at OmniFi. John has served on the board of directors for the National Organization of Albinism and Hypopigmentation, as a member of the Harvard Business School FIELD Alumni Advisory Board, as treasurer for the Renaissance Homeowner’s Association, treasurer of the Harvard Business School Washington D.C. Trek, and treasurer of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity Mu Sigma chapter. He is an alumni of Google, McKinsey & Company and Target Corporation.
Amelious Whyte Board Member
Amelious has a PhD in Educational Policy and Administration (Higher Education) from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts degree in public affairs from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. He is currently the Director of Public Engagement for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota. He has previously served in a number of roles at University, including serving as the Senior Associate Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, the Assistant to the Executive Director to the Board of Regents, and the Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs. He is an active community volunteer and currently serves on the boards of the Weisman Art Museum, the Friends of the Libraries of the University of Minnesota. He is the president of the Campus Club Board of Directors and chair of the Governor's Residence Council. He is also a Graduation Coach for AchieveMinneapolis, an Elections Judge, and a long time academic advisor for Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He is passionate about issues of equity, social justice, and ending sexual violence.
Mario Feliz Board Member
Mario is an alumni of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with emphasis in networks and information systems and microcomputers. Mario is currently an Information Technology Infrastructure Manager at Navitus. Mario is an active volunteer in the Wisconsin Special Olympics fundraising efforts, as well as the Ribbon of Hope, the American Cancer Society, and the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer. Mario was previously an Information Technology Senior Network Architect at Shopko Stores.
Keith Schmit Board Member
Keith has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics with an emphasis on computer science from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. He is currently a Senior Information Technology Programmer/Analyst at Imperial Supplies Incorporated. He is a founding member of University of Wisconsin Green Bay Gamers’ Association and webmaster of several web hosting organizations.
